About Peer Network
The Peer Network is one of the best groups at uni! We're made up of local and international students from all UTS campuses, students who want to get to know their uni - and each other - a lot better. Since the Peer Network was founded in 1998 its numbers have grown to over 500 current students. At the beginning of every semester we students volunteer our time to help out new students, through participation in the UTS Orientation Program. This involves us leading campus tours, staffing the Orientation helpdesk and coffee cart, taking students to Online Booking, mingling at official welcomes, answering questions from new students, and much, much more!

It's a lot of fun, because as well as the more formal experiences of university we go along to barbecues and faculty welcomes. We're an energetic, outgoing crew involved in all aspects of the university, and we're here to make life for new students relaxed and easy! And because every Peer Networker is a current UTS student, we can help any student, new or old, with all the questions they have to ask. You've probably seen us around, wearing bright orange t-shirts: We can't be missed!
