Private student residences

Privately run residences, sometimes known as hostels, are suitable for students who would like to live in a complex where you will have your own bedroom, but usually where common areas are shared, such as lounge, bathroom and laundry facilities. Some residences will also provide meals, while other places will provide kitchen facilities. You will find that many residences cater for a wider range of people, including students from other Universities, and those that may already be in the work force. Accommodation arrangements will vary from place to place, but usually between 6 - 12 months, or based on semester.
