Homestays

Homestays offer International Students an opportunity to live with an Australian family, and fees usually include accommodation, two meals a day, seven days a week. It offers students a unique experience to the Australian life and a great way to improve their English language skills. This service is available to UTS students that are under 18.

Homestay arrangements are organised by Insearch Ltd, a commercial branch of the University. All enquiries regarding homestays and bookings are co-ordinated through Insearch.

Homestays are one of the most popular options for Insearch students. Not only do you improve your English on a daily basis with local people, you will have two meals provided, seven days a week. You will also get the chance to make life-long friends and learn about Australian culture first hand. Homestay hosts can meet you on your arrival at the airport and can act as carers or guardians for students under 18. We keep in contact with you frequently to make sure the relationship is a happy one.
