Financial assistance

The financial assistance service can assist you with practical and financial aspects of life at university.

We offer a 'near immediate' financial assistance service, with a two week application process on student loans to eligible local and international students experiencing short term financial difficulties.

Local UTS students with ongoing and longterm low incomes, can also approach the financial assistance service for advocacy on Centrelink, HECS & FEE-HELP, budgeting, loan information and equity based scholarships and grants. Financial assistance may also be able to assist local students on a proven low income with additional 'products', specific to unexpected living expenses and study expenses.

You can make an appointment to see a financial assistance team member at either City or Kuring-gai campus.

Any personal information you may share with the financial assistance service, will remain confidential.
