About the financial assistance service

The financial assistance service can assist you with practical and financial aspects of life at university.

Some of the ways that we can assist you are through:

• Student loans if you are an enrolled student and are having difficulties with continuing your studies because of financial hardship.
• Information about scholarships and grants available from UTS
• Budgeting assistance.
• Provision of emergency financial assistance. and
• Computer recycling if you are on a low-income and/or you have specific needs for a computer at home, such as you live a long way from university or have carer responsiblities.
• Helping you work out Centrelink (opens an external site) information and assistance.
• Putting you in touch with Tax Help organisations between July and October.
