Understanding and managing depression

Feeling depressed?

Have you noticed yourself or someone you know:

  • Feeling down or low and can’t snap out of it?
  • Being more irritable than usual?
  • Having trouble concentrating on your work or studies?
  • Wanting to withdraw from other people?
  • Having trouble concentrating on your studies?
  • Having trouble with sleeping or eating?

If you answered ‘yes” to some of these questions, you may be experiencing clinical depression. 

Come along to a 1-hour presentation by the Counselling service:

  • Recognise when to seek professional help
  • Find out what help is available
  • Develop strategies for managing depression
