Statement of faith
Here to Serve You and the University
As a welcoming, inclusive and safe place community of the Christian church, the Uniting Church in Australia Chaplains, Assistant Chaplains and Mission Workers are present at the University to:
- Enable students and staff to find their way into a mature and relevant understanding of the Christian faith.
- Provide counselling in areas such as relationship, loneliness, grief, sexuality, family and faith issues.
- Assist in finding student accommodation.
- Affirming the value of continuing academic study and discipline.
- Encourage dialogue and respect for people of other faiths or of no faith.
- Put students in touch with other support services on campus.
- Work closely with Christian Students Uniting (UCATSA) student group.
- Provide a University Worship space 6:30 pm at Ultimo Uniting Church (cnr Bulwara & Quarry streets, Ultimo).

International Students please note that the Uniting Church was formed 25 years ago of Methodist, Presbyterians, Congregationalists and others. As such it is a Mainline Christian denomination.
