What are you interested in? If you know what you're interested in, it's much easier to decide what course or career may suit you.

Interest categories
Realistic (practical and/or outdoors)
Do you like working with machines and tools? Do you like to work outdoors or with your hands, fixing or mending things? Do you see yourself as being practical? Do you like to keep fit?
Realistic people have athletic or mechanical abilities. They prefer to work with things, machines, tools, plants or animals or to be outdoors.
Investigative
Investigative people like to observe, learn, investigate, analyse, evaluate or solve problems. Do you have artistic skills and a good imagination? Do you like reading, music, art, movies or theatre? Do you enjoy doing original work or designing or writing? Do you work best in a creative, non-structured environment? Artistic people are creative, innovative and intuitive and like to work in unstructured situations using their imagination. Do you like to be involved with other people? Do you like to help others learn, solve their problems or get well? Do you express yourself well?/p>
Social people like to work with other people to enlighten, inform, help, train, or cure them or they are skilled with using words and language. Do you like teamwork and to influence other people? Do you enjoy responsibility, achievement and working towards goals? Are you a leader and a good public speaker? Enterprising people like to work with people, influencing, persuading, performing, leading or managing for organisational goals or economic gain. Do you enjoy following processes and meeting clear standards? Do you like to work indoors and for things to be orderly? Are you a great organiser or administrator and/or good at maths?
