Working solutions
What is the aim of Working Solutions?
The aim of the program is to cover issues relating to career development and management and employability skills to better prepare international students for the workplace. Through a series of workshops, participants will further develop their interpersonal, communication and networking skills.
Who is Working Solutions for?
UTS Working Solutions is offered to International students enrolled in Bachelor of Business (with majors in Marketing, Accounting and Finance), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Professional Accounting (MPA) and Information Technology (IT) students
Why are you only targeting International Business and IT students?
UTS Working Solutions is targeting International MBA, MPA & IT students for a number of reasons:
- The size of the cohort is suited to the program requirements
- At this stage, there are a limited number of internships available only in the areas of Accounting, Finance, Marketing and IT
- Final year students will have developed the necessary competencies to undertake meaningful placements.
What happens if I graduate? (When are students no longer deemed to be students?)
Students will be eligible for Working Solutions program as long as they are current students. Students are considered to be students' of UTS while their status is current on the student system (CASS).
How much does the program cost?
Working Solutions is offered at no cost to the student

Working Solutions is made up of two components:
- Workshops (compulsory participation is required)
- Internships (limited placements available).
